chapstick reviews by moon. ones without reviews i either haven't tried or it's been so long since i have tried them that a review would be timebiased. i'll try to update this often.

• original - boring. average. 5/10

• original medicated - meh. fine if my lips are really chapped. 4/10

• cherry - a really nice cherry scent! i like this one when i'm looking for a classic. not my favourite, but not offensive. 8/10

• strawberry -

• vanilla mint - my first impression of this was rather unimpressed, but i took a bit to use just this one by itself and i feel a bit more warmly towards it now. i think the scent of it is very very very mint-heavy, but there is some vanilla in there that makes the Camphor Explosion not too overpowering. it almost smells like a mint you'd get from a restaurant. the underwhelmingness of the vanilla also makes slight sense to me because vanilla isn't the strongest scent in chapsticks in general, they kind of miss every time when trying to make a good vanilla. buuuut the formula is fantastic! chapsticks can be very inconsistent with that. i like how it feels to wear, and luckily the smell doesn't show up when it's actually on my lips. there is no cooling, i was kind of hoping for that, but even if there was cooling it could never match up to my beloved. 7.5/10 i THINK?

• vanilla cupcake - it's Fine. similar to cake batter for me. in fact, this may just BE cake batter. it is not really notable in any way other than possibly being a repackaging of a different scent. the smell isn't very strong but i do like the smell that is there, i guess? i just wish it did something new. also it is pretty thin. 6.5/10

• vanilla bean ice cream - smells weirdly like cherry for some reason? but like. medicinal cherry. it's strange. i don't hate the balm itself, it's just a bit of a misleading name lol...i probably will drag my feet using this. 6/10

• spiced apple crumble - LOVE this one. the nuances of the scent are amazing to me, the apple is represented perfectly and it has some buttery notes as well. and it smells great even while on my lips, which is always a plus. 9/10

• warm cinnamon roll - hate 3/10

• gingerbread cookie - it's fine. i didn't hate it, but i didn't love it. i would give it away if i got it again. 5/10

• clover honey - not for me. i don't like honey much, lol. i only got this one because it was in a pack with blueberry, and i used it begrudgingly. if i got another one i'd probably give it away. 3/10

• blueberry - honestly a disappointment. i wanted it to smell good and it just smells like nothing. feels like wax too. sigh. 1/10

• rose water - it smells like lotion. actually more moisturising than a normal chapstick, which is nice, but the scent just makes me feel like i'm putting lotion on my lips. it's weird. 6/10

• almond oil - this one is nice! like the above one, it moisturises very well, and UNlike the above one, it doesn't smell like a body care product. it smells nutty and pleasant, and overall is a good experience to wear and smell. 8/10

• mint tea - this is just spearmint 4/10

• candy cane - MY FAVOURITE OF ALL TIME. i love this shit so much i bought it on ebay. the cooling sensation, the scent (peppermint with a hint of vanilla...my god), the thickness, everything is PERFECT. it makes me feel instantly better when i put it on. i love you candy cane. 10/10

• zingy watermelon - this has absolutely no zing to it, which is disappointing. it almost smells like watermelon kiwi to me, in a way i kind of hate. it is also reminiscent of REVO lip balm in watermelon, which is a thing nobody remembers because that was like 10 years ago, just with a weird dusty kiwi overtone. so yeah, the scent is...not great, honestly! it is super smooth and thick on my lips though, which i like. just need to get over the smell. 5/10

• electric tangerine - omggg this smells SO good. it's like an orange creamsicle! there's definitely some cream in the scent i think, but there is also a lot of orange, and it all smells awesome to me. the formula is super smooth, soft, and goes on pretty thick. absolutely LOVE this one, and i'm hoping i will find a way to get it individually, because the other two in this pack were not awesome lol. 9.5/10

• fizzy grape - it's alright. i am not excited to review all three grape scents that are supposedly all different. it smells fine, it's a bit thinner than i'd like, but that's about it. i'll use it, but i'm not too pumped about using it. kind of smells like grape jelly. 6.5/10
